DIY - Create Your Own SVG Easter Basket

This DIY tutorial for creating your own SVG Easter Basket will give you links for free products to convert our SVG boxes into Easter Baskets.

Purchase the SVG box base for your desired SVG Easter Basket size.
Assemble the box template according to the template instructions.

Download our FREE SVG Easter Basket Handles
There are two different handles included for your preference.
One has squared edges and one has rounded edges.
The length of the handles will open around 12 inches, and the width is currently set to 1 inch.
You may resize the length and width to fit your basket size and your preferences.

Place the handle anywhere you like.
(I attached the handle by using brads so it could move.)
Make a small hole in the ends of the handle and in the box at your desired location.
Line up one hole for the handle and the base and push the brad through the hole then secure the brad.
Repeat on the other side.
If you would like for the handle to stay in a fixed position, just use glue instead of a brad.
You can glue the handle outside the base or inside the base.

The template has vertical cut lines that should fill the entire size of your mat.
It was made for a 12×12 mat, but you may resize (Don’t forget to set your paper size.)
The lines will not cut to the tips if your program has a “no cut” border. You will just have to snip those with scissors.
Squeeze and crumble the paper strips in your hands until they look the way you like. (Lighter paper is easier to crinkle.)

Decorate as desired.
